Piano Forte Piano delves into the sound of multiple pianos. Rarely are more than two pianos played simultaneously. When many are heard in a separate contrapuntal or independent manner, the power and mechanism become a focal point. Employing my noncooperative approach – freeing tempo, verticality and tonality – a hybrid expression becomes possible, and new unique textures emerge. – RF
